Rio Chama Permits??!!

Has anyone EVER gotten a Rio Chama permit?? I know it's not a sick whitewater run but it is a Wild and Scenic river and the fishing is supposed to be great.

My wife and have put in for the past 6 years and have never drawn a permit. I'm starting to think that they don’t actually issue permits. I think they just collect money. Six bucks at a time. Bastards.

First time applied & got it. Sounds like the MF lottery to me.

most likely no. It is going to be a kid's trip. We may see no wildlife or have any relaxation between the hours of 7A to 9P.

I will let you know via PM if we have extra spots.

Steve.
