Rio Chama Beta

Has anyone boated the rio chama from los ojos to el vado lake? I'll be in chama memorial day weekend and I'm looking for some easy water to paddle.

Can anyone confirm that the last 5 miles of the run is class I? From the footbridge to el vado.

I seem to remember seeing pontoon boats on that portion of the river as when it used to have high flow.
