Just fighting the good fight Baker. Hope my ski pass won't get red lined next season. It's nothing personal at all, just opinions.
June 24th is the date the County will be deciding about the B.Rainbow and their permit. I hope they let them float so that the cards will be in the Seedhouse Road Coalition. It will be interesting if the owners of B.Rainbow will fight it, not sure.
I had a conversations with J. Blevins from D.Post the other day regarding this issue. Some points that came from conversation: this issue comes up every year or so, just like high water as boaters get after it. Once the river recedes, the issue goes away. No Rep. or Senator will go after the issue because its a dead end to not getting re-elected. Whomever brings this up, on the side of our right to float, will be banished as anti-property which would be political suicide.
So, how do we as boaters get this issue resolved? No clue.
Regarding the fishing on the Elk, it's all park and play so there is one access in and the same access out. Only one landowner is affected, but their making $$$ off it and don't care.
