Retiring after 20-years in the military

Tomorrow is my last day in the active duty Air Force. The van is all packed, boats loaded, and I think I've got everything. I'll leave Spokane, WA at around 0830 and head directly south with a final destination of Valles, Mexico via Puerto Vallarta. If any of you plan on paddling in Mexico this winter, I'll be looking for partners. I'll be hanging out at Grant Amaral's Agua Azul camp beginning mid-December and may work my way south to Veracruz or Oaxaca after that if there's water. If you're interested in getting together for some paddling, I'll be checking my e-mail occasionally (tmtuttle@hotmail.com). Or if you see a VW Eurovan, ID tags, and a boat trailer stop by for a cerveza.

See ya,

Bong

Congratulations!

Sounds like a nice winter season you've got lined up. Have fun and keep unwinding.

Give a shout next spring and keep in touch,

--Andy

Yah, Buddy. It will be nice to not "have to" turn it down when offered at the campfire. Gotta be careful though. A friend of mine was in my same situation - 20 years of government work and wasn't able to smoke. After he was retired, he smoked some. Evidently the potency has increased in 20 years and he had a bad experience.
