Redneck Boat Testing

Well its Friday here at Liquidlogic and last night the ice came out and covered all the trees with a nice layer of the cold stuff. *All the grocery stores were out of bread, milk, and toilet paper. *Schools canceled across the land. *Somebody lost control in front of our shop and knocked all the power out in the neighborhood so I didn't have anything to do in the shop so we decided to have a little fun with a couple trucks, a sledge hammer, and some kayaks. *What else was I supposed to do. *For the whole story go here.

I knew the boats were strong, but still, I'm impressed. None of the pictures or videos really showed any damage, though. Did you succeed in busting anything? I admit, I kind of wanted to see one of the safety bars break and the boat go flying through the cab of the other truck; but alas, you guys do too good of a job. I'd like to see all the manufacturers put their boats under such rigorous testing.

Some guys on Boatertalk challenged them to do the test w/o the ply wood. Looks like the LL shit is as good as we all thought it was.

that and...

We just wanted to have some fun and there had been a lot of talk about it. A couple guys had asked us if we would do it. We also had a power outage yesterday so we couldn't work in the shop so we took a little time to do some testing. We have actually done most of this stuff before we just never videoed it. IT was a really fun day.
