| We did it Sunday. There is a lot of water in the rio grande right now so the paddle out was quick. There is a bit of wood, so be heads up. We did not have to get out of the boats for anything but there is one river wide log that we went over on river left and another spot that most of the river goes under a log on river left... so you need to bust hard right. 150 to 200 is a good flow for the first time down. The Santa Cruz is also running, about an hour south of Taos. It is short but a great river. We ran it this morning. The gauge was 2.2... A little low, but it is runnable as low as 2.0.
