That covers most of the days hikes I would vote for - don't forget the graineries and I would add shiver grotto (cant remember real name)

Pick up "Day Hikes From the River, Third Edition" by Tom Martin. He's done a good job with this series of books. Lots of good stuff there.

Do not miss the Tapeats/Thunder River/Deer Creek Narrows hike. Unreal.

second that was my favorite two day stretch on the river...carry your boat to the top of tapeats and get a couple laps too! so much fun!

Nice hike north out of Bass camp to a great plunge pool in Shinumo creek with water pouring over a few boulders into a nice pool, and actual green "trees".
I believe this is where there are a lot of relics on display including a broken piece of early outboard lower unit.
Also sheep in this area and great views up/down river.

Stone Creek, at the bottom of Dubendorff...waterfall for those who just want to hang out...agave pits visible along the banks...ends in a stone chamber

Thanks for the Plug Rich Phillips!

Yes, I too recommend the Day Hikes From the River book... but another option is to get the new book Big Water Little Boats, and rematch the historic photos in the book. Not to hard to do and you'll see some interesting changes to the river today vs the days before Glen Canyon dam. Also, you really can't go wrong wherever you go! Have fun, yours, tom martin
