Alright, so I am getting information together for a New Mexico trip in the near future. Part of our group is going to run the Lower Box one day, and the other half is going to do the Upper Box. We were planning on doing Pilar all together the other day, but if things go good I would like to do a more difficult run the second day.
- I am interested in the Razorblades section, but having trouble finding beta on the rapids, the BLM website lists it as 6 miles of class IV+ pool drop at low flows, with a 1/2 mile hike in and a mile hike out.

Anyone done this stretch?

Not worth it unless you're doing the upper box as well. It's a 6 mile stretch, but the first 3 are flat. It is a 1/2 mile in 1/2 mile out, but both are about 750 vertical feet in that half mile. The rapids are good, but not worth the hike with how few there are unless continuing on downstream. Try Red River if it's running.
