Raising the seat

Anyone have good suggestions on raising the seat on a simple aluminum frame? I have the low-back tractor seat and I might want the seat to be a little bit higher, especially if my passenger sits in front of me. Also my seat seems too low to tuck my oar handles under. Any suggestions for this would be appreciated as always, as I haven't done a lot of tinkering with frames in the past.

Seems like some blocks of wood and longer bolts would do the trick.

Hi,

We (Down River Equipment) sell a couple of different seat brackets that you can bolt on a tractor seat to. We sell the brackets for NRS size pipe (1.25" ID) and DRE size (1.5"ID) pipe. A picture of the bracket can be found on our website:

You will probably need taller oar towers as if you raise your seat. Please give us a call and we can discuss in more detail.

Sincerely,
Zach
