Rainbow hippies shutting down mountainbuzz threads

Damn hippies. All I have to say, is that locking down the entertaining threads is going to kill off the whole allure of this site for many. I as many others, do not get much in terms of kayaking out of this site, other than a good laugh and a way to stay in touch with paddling friends accross the state. I use mountainbuzz as a news pipeline for things happening in the paddling world and the issues around it. Such as: Hippies, texans, wookies, low water antics, people tubing 80ft waterfalls etc.......
Don't let the buzz be killed. A boaters forum is way more than just talking about boating, so take your yahoo group and shove it where the sun don't shine.

I know I could probably figure out what you're talking about if I went back and read all the threads, but I was hoping you'd save me some time and explain what it is that's going on that has you so disappointed?
