For those of you who like some flow in the Big Thompson, tonight, for a short time only, we'll be releasing additional water for municipal and irrigation demands downstream.
Starting about now (5:00 p.m. Friday July 27th) through midnight tonight, there should be about 300 cfs in the river. I don't know if that's high enough for kayaking/rafting, but thought I should let you know.
For you flyfishers, please be aware that flows are going up this evening! Please pass on to any flyfishers you might know.
