Questions about California??

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is about a trip out to Cali...

Looking for solid class IV+ stuff

What time of year is best?

We will be flying from the SE so Where should we fly into? San Fran?

Any good places to rent boats ?

Any rivers that we should make sure we get on?

Downieville is the SERIOUS IV+ paradise!!! Be sure to check out Pauley Creek and Sierra City to Downieville run on the Yuba.

My close friend owns the Downieville Inn and is seriously boater friendly. Hell he might even get in there with you, but the key to staying with him is the free and custom shuttle service that he offers. Usually with cold ones at the takeout!

There are endless runs within an hour of DV for any skill level and they tend to go off mid april. That is when we do our annual pilgramige
