Another good run that has great scenery, very little flat water, and NO crowds is the section of the Colorado below Burns. You can put in below Rodeo Rapid in Burns and take out river right below the twin bridges nine miles below, or at Confluence Casting for a small fee a mile below that. This section have some really fun wave trains that are a blast in a ducky.

Thanks for all the info folks! It sounds like the burns run down that Jack described would be really fun. Wave trains are just what I am looking for. Heading over to the glenwood area afterward to do either cemetery or the grizzly section would be a good day 2. Thanks Buzz!
