Pyranha Outfitting/Stupid Question

I'm outfitting my new Stretch this morning and am having a time with the bow... I've never owned a boat w/o a bulkhead before and am not sure how to attach the block and shims to the boat. Should I just glue it in once I find the right combo or what?

~Thanks

I assume the stretch is a tiny playboat. Any way here is what I did on my LL Scooter which has no bulkhead. I threw away the foot comfort bag which most people find unworkable, then proceeded to shape and install my own foam blocks for the foot rest. Gluing them in would make this too permanent and not allow for changes in seat position or other paddlers. I drilled some 3/8 inch holes into the foot blocks and another hole into the bow pillar and attached averything with 3/8 inch nylon rope. That way they wont fall out on portages or swims. Its easy to untie and reshape or move things around, etc.

I spent a few hours shaping and gluing a footblock but have not glued it in yet. The block is big enough that it won't come out without some serious yanking due to the front pillar.
I'll try the tie-in method and see how it goes this week.

~Thanks again

Well I want zero cords, strings etc between me and the exit of my boat so I would just use a little glue that is easily scraped out and replaced but thats up to you.
