PUmphouse to Catamount, campsites & travel time @ 4K?

Taking friends for an overnight next week. Forecast flow is 4K, we're thinking of doing a layover day, & would rather camp at one of the sites with firepit and latrine. I'm using the BLM guidebook (link here) as a reference.

Is there anything below the Bench Sites (closer to Catamount to avoid a 20 mile day) that's not auto or 4WD accessible and will have good hiking? Anyone know about "Cable Rapid Cabins?" Is this a BLM campsite?

Also, what's the float time from Rancho or State Bridge to Catamount at 4K?

there is an island just below cable rapid, great camping @ downstream end of island. No toilet there but there is a fire-pit. As far as float time, even at 4k the wind will determine that

"Cable Rapid Cabins" is not a BLM campsite just a descent sized rocky beach with an old derelict cabin, no firepit and no toilets. Just downstream from State Bridge on river left are some blm sites with a new in the last couple years toilet and picnic tables (at least they were there 2 years ago and weren't 8 years ago). The site is 4wd accessible but unless things have changed greatly in the last few years it is unlikely that you will run into anyone at the site on a weeknight, especially since the lodge is no longer. Simply hit the large river left eddy at the obvious wave train before the river hangs a right turn. It's the "Windy Point" site listed on map
