pueblo whitewater park

what changes were made to the #7 feature this past winter?? any info would be great.

Heath,

There weren't any changes made to number 7. What was done, was that the level of the pool below number 7 and above number 8 was raised which changed the way number seven behaves. It has become a lot less sticky and at some levels a pretty decent surf wave.

Number 8 can be a fun little feature too, however, I think that some of the fill was blown out when we had some high water in July so it may have to be replaced.

thanks for the reply, we have a feature here that is a sticky pourover ledge that only a few of us will get in, we have been considering raising the pool level below to help fix the problem.


I would love to make it to the rodeo but arkansas is a long drive

but at 3300 cfs it formed a very sticky hole again on the river left side, i was surprised and glad i didnt drop in. that is the exception though, raising the level took most of the bite out
