Ok everyone who might be interested: we are going to begin hosting weekly competitions at the Pueblo Park Wednesday evenings. They'll begin about 6:30 and go till dark. Our hope is to have both a rodeo for the playboaters and also a changing "Beginners Comp" which might include anything from ferrying relays to rolling challenges. We'll be taking pictures and video during them and then meet afterwards at "Phil's", a bar down the street from the course, where we'll show the videos, hand out cd copies of the pics and have a few beers (Phil's is offering the first beer free for all boaters).
I am not expecting this to make the professional circuit... but it should be a great afternoon gathering for fun, friends and practice. The Pueblo park isn't Reno but it seems to leave most people smiling.
