I had an Invader for years in the early 90's. Loved that boat and it stood up to a thrashing.
I have a Hurricane (I hang on to it cuz its great for long trips and big water runs) and luv that palstic boat too. Awesom and tough as hell plastic. Even though I threw a pillar in the front of my hurricane it didnt need it. I like their design philosophy: give it rocker, lots of room and plastic tough as hell !!! I agree on the outfitting, it lacks.
I just wish they made a great 7 ft surfer/river runner. But alas they arnt as popular as they used to be.
