Poudre Whitewater Park Update. WE'RE ON THE BUDGET! Need your help to approve it!

I tried to update my sticky, but I guess I haven't done so in 96 days. sorry...

Finally an update on the Fort Collins Whitewater Park effort! A lot of hard work has gone in to convincing the City that we need this in our town. Thank you to all of you that wrote emails to cityleaders@fcgov.com. They read all of them and each one has brought us closer to a play park reality.

Great news, we're officially on the city budget plan for 2015 and 2016, and we need your help with the approval. Please go this website:

Proposed services for 2015-2016: 2015-2016 budget: City of Fort Collins

Select the "Green" button on item 21.1 if you approve the Poudre Downtown project that includes the whitewater park. Clicking the description will show a "kayak park" included in this. The total costs include building the park, the hardscaping, and other land improvements for the entire section between College and BNSF railway.

You can select 4 green lights, and 4 red lights, then submit your comments below and click Submit.

Thanks for your time, please visit us at Poudre Whitewater Park for the latest.

If you would like to join our effort and work behind the scenes, please contact me @ denalijb at gmail.com.
