the rock was at 1.6ft last night at 8pm. We only saw 2 other kayaks on the river. Whats up with that?

The poudre is offering some of the best paddling on the front range right now and no one from Fort Collins is representing, mannn. Yeah its low and won't last much longer but get after it while you can people.

my guess is rain as the last couple days the canyon has gotten some good afternoon showers but without going up to the pass it's hard to say for sure.

This is a scheduled release due to end this weekend. The flow was around 1.7 earlier this week, but I'm guessing it's right around 1.1 right now. It's a somewhat boring scrape down bridges, but it's entertaining.

So the flow on the poudre just jumped 100 cfs in an hour or two this morning, it did'nt rain, long draw gauge stayed the same. Anyone have any idea where the water came from?

The extra water's coming down Joe Wright creek by way of Joe Wright Reservoir & Chambers Lake. Joe Wright was low and almost doable yesterday on our way down the canyon from Gore.

yup... 205 cfs. i

Pineview is pretty fun at this level, good learner. We're scraping (well not too bad today!) at 6:00 if anyone is up for an afternoon run down Pineview and Bridges.
