Poudre River Dams

There has been all this money raised over the last few years to build a waterpark in F.C. & we have been denied for various reasons, why not take that money to build boat ramps on the dams so that there are more miles of river to boat safely for kayakers and anglers. What if you could boat all the way from the canyon into town and grab a bite to eat down town? Sounds kinda nice?

Sounds like a terrible idea to me. The money was raised for a whitewater park not to give an extra couple miles of flat water. I know it is pretty unlikely we'll ever get a playpark but the hope that we may is way better than the idea of boat ramps on the dams. Also, the amount of money that has been raised isn't going to go very far if you were to put it towards a project like that.

i'm with nathan on this one. it would be nice to be able to get around the dams between bto and gateway, and even the ones after the canyon. but not at the expence of losing the possibility of ever getting a playpark. it still blows me away we don't have one when it seems like so many towns in colorado do.
i'll keep playing the powerball.
if i win the first thing i'll do is build the sweetest park anyone's ever seen!!
.... charles billingsworth raftington III memorial playpark...
second thing i'll do is buy a1 wildwater and fire breck. then hire him back just so i can fire him again.

It would be cool to boat from the canyon into town. However, in the spirit of the play park, it would be better to start building boat chutes in town and work up towards the canyon. The intent of the play park was to get people into the river in FC.
