Poudre downriver race today (Upper Mish to Bridges)

We talked about this late night at Sunday's fundraiser. Here are the details for those with fuzzy memory. Of course, all are welcome to join, and the more the merrier:

Race date: TODAY, Thursday 05/26/05
Meet: 4:45pm @ Ted's or 5:30pm @ Steven's
Bring: a teammate, and $20 each
Putin: Steven's Gulch
Takeout: Bridges putin

General Format:
You must paddle in teams of 2, always keeping your teammate in view
There are no divisions, or boat length classes
All moneys will be placed in a pot. The winning team takes all and splits the cash 60/40

More details once we all meet up and see who actually turns up.

Now lets the games begin...

topoduo

Sounds like a blast. Not going to be able to get there in time though.
If this happens again, would a Topo Duo count as a whole team or would we need a second boat?

Race Result

The team of Mike Pagel and Kevin Hammond won the first race. Frenchy and Marty were a close second. A great time was had by all. A couple pictures are up in the creek/downriver gallery. Considering starting at the mouth of the canyon on bikes for the next race. Thanks to New Belgium for adult beverages. Have a safe weekend everyone
