Poudre Compared 2 Browns

Hay dair...

I've run Browns Canyon 5 or 6 times from flows from 700 - 1600 cfs. Haven't had too many problems, maybe didn't run the 'meat' on all of them, but went down all of them including Seidels and Twin Falls.

I was wondering how that run compares to runs on the Poudre in skill-level wise. I've run Bridges 40 times no problem, and was looking to run some other parts but don't know the most about them.

Any thoughts on which sections I should try out on the Poudre before we lose our good H2O?

Thanks...

If you're good on Browns over 1000 and are comfortable on Bridges, you should hit Upper Mish, Lower Mish (great play at 4') and Poudre Park. Of course you could always hit Upper and Lower Rustic (class III-IV) as well.

If you're board of Bridges...

At 4 hit Upper Rustic 8-9 miles of III wave trains.

Agreed, upper/lower mish and poudre park would be the next step up. I followed that same progression after being comfortable on Brown's. Go with some people that know the run because there are a few places that will work you if you don't know the line or if no one is familiar stop and scout the rapids on the drive up. Also if you're comfortable in Browns, then numbers should also be on your list as a step up even though you weren't asking about the arkansas.
