Will do. Maybe you should try both places out. If you need help with your roll, even if it's just someone there for a t-rescue, lemme know. I like EJ's method of teaching
I went to Bear Creek Lake with my kayak once. I already had the pass because I liked their archery range. Is there a separate part of the lake sectioned off for non-motorized boats? When I went there, it seemed like I had to share the same area as the motorized boats.
That's what I like about Chatfield. They have the Gravel Pond for non-motorized boats and stuff. Also, as a newbie I appreciated being able to find spots in Gravel Pond that I could have to myself without onlookers and such (at least during the weekday evenings). Just part of the learning experience I appreciated. I found a section of Bear Creek lake that was free of on-lookers, but it was very swampy and gross.
