Pool sessions open for Colorado Springs

Pool sessions scheduled for 2005 are now in session! Come on out and join us for roll practice, kayak skills tuning, and after practice fun.

Every Sunday: January 16 - April 10, 2005 (excluding March 27th)
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Cheyenne Mountain High School
1200 Cresta Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Pool entrance is on the south side (please wash your boat before entering)
Free for PPWC club members
$5 per pool session without membership

The Pikes Peak Whitewater Club (PPWC) is an enthusiastic group of paddlers, who get together on weekends/weekdays, to explore Colorado's rivers and beyond. With a wide range of talent and experience, the group shares river trips, stories, tips, hidden river gems, camping areas, adventure destinations, and other outdoor activities. We are active all year round, boating whatever rivers are available to run. PPWC is open to all skills levels. So, if you are just starting out or a seasoned boater, you are welcome to join the fun!

I hope to see you soon,
-Gordon Stringer, President PPWC

If you around the Colo Spgs area, then now is the time to get wet and work out the kinks in that roll.

Thought I would give this a bump and also say thanks to Wavesport and CKS for coming out and giving us a demo day at the pool. It's tough when you don't have a local shop to support you but CKS has bent over backwards to support our club over the years. Thanks again!
