M Wave is the sickest. That is man made. Keep your eyes open though.
The best park in the state is in the design stage, coming to you next spring with the best features in the state. Just keep your eye on the eagle river.

. Golden is a great town and community. The GCR put on by locals has been great the last 3 years, but the park sucks. 12 drops and only one is acceptable. Not only acceptable for kayakers, but for the boogie boarders, swimmers, and anything else people try to use in that hole. I have seen fights, frustration, and a lot of rock humping at that spot because of the crowds. 12 drops and we are all focused on one feature

this is off subject but as a former Coloradan living in Reno Nv. I noticed the post concerning "fights and frustrations" Our park is crawling with non boaters and so far there hasnt been any problems I'm aware of, although I heard a drunk parent and his friends hassled a boater last year because the boater told a kid to give him some room,,the parent ended up in jail. Anyhow,,my question is,,Is violence or threats a commom occurance at front range parks? I lived in San Diego for years and the popular surf spots got a little "stressed" on the weekends.

The best play hole is the one closest to your boat. i.e. closest to your home.
