Playpark recommendations in and around Denver

Hi Frontrangers,
I'm headed out on a trip to Denver for about a week and was thinking of bringing my playboat. What are the better parks nowadays? I've never really seen 16th street really good and have never timed Union right. What's my best bet? I'm coming out tomorrow and will be in the area and mobile for the weekend and then stuck in downtown Denver for the rest of the week but I'll be able to do the after work thing. What options do I have other than 16th and Union within 30-45 minutes of driving?
Thanks for trhe advice!

The skate park wave at the 20th street overpass is the ticket downtown at these flows. Also, looks like you've timed Union right this time--it's at 800 today. Golden and Boulder are low but doable.

Golden is coming up fast.

If you hit the Skatepark wave, go 200 yards downstream and check out the tressle wave too.

The Boulder Park isn't great, but if you want the tour, it's there. If you aren't familiar with the town of Boulder, it's also worthwhile to check out. The place is surreal--very different from the rest of Colorado.
