Plastic welder, dented burn, ripped Nomad

I put a serious gouge in my Burn on Clear Creek yesterday. Its not all the way through but it was really close. Anyone know a good welder that can patch this? My buddy ripped a 6 inch gash in his Nomad as well. Yes, rough day for boats. Can that be welded as well? Mine wont need to last forever, Pyranha offered me a deal on a hull but it will take a while, my buddys boat was purchased used and he is literally sunk if it cant be welded.

Call Dagger and tell them what happened and they will send you some plastic repair strips and instructions for free. Go to Harbour Freight tools and pick up a heat gun for $9.99 and the accessory pack for another 5-6 bucks. Follow the instructions, be carefull and go slow. Don't get your boat too hot, let cool and go kayaking. This is how I fixed my girlfriends boat and it worked great. If you live in the Fort pm me and I can help you out.

Whoops, sorry misread your post, your friend has the Dagger. Dagger was great for me. See if piranha will send you a repair kit.

Thanks for the info Paul but I found a welder here in the springs. He did a great job and has his own plastic. Its not rocket science but I let someone with the tools/talent and isnt going to melt a hole in my hull. Very impressed with the outcome.
Affordable Solutions, plastic fabrication and restoration.
