There is a blue kayak pinned on a rock in Foxton about a mile or so down from Foxton Rd. It is on river right just shortly after the drop where the flow goes directly into a large rock with a big pillow on it. As of last night the boat did not appear to create any hazard. An extraction effort will hopefully take place soon although it is pinned in a very difficult spot to get to.
The owner dislocated his shoulder, but was able to swim to shore, prior to the boat being pinned. He also lost his paddle.
