Piedra shuttle beta

Hoping to run the Piedra this weekend but have heard shuttle can be a challenge. Any possibility of a bike shuttle or to hitch a ride...or is it too remote and long a drive?

Hitching with other boaters is possible. Saturday morning and Sunday evening are good bets for finding groups running shuttles.

if you are doing the lower canyon only a mountain bike shuttle is certainly feasible. I once walked my own shuttle all 12 miles of it. for the full run you will need a vehicle.

Piedra shuttle

Shuttle from lower Piedra takeout to the upper putin takes about an hour one-way in a vehicle.
