Party equipment......

Seeing in how I'm a fat guy, I like to eat. Especially when camping the night before an epic swim. I am also poor given that I used to live in a ski town (not like you vail trustafarians). Suggestions on a grill that can be used at a campsite? I am looking for something running on propane, can cook for quite a few people, car transportable, and that will serve the dual purpose of college football saturday brats in my backyard. hopefully between $100 and $200. thanks.

there's a triple burner bad-ass CampChef at costco. don't know $$$ but it looks pretty sweet. it's big though so raft trips would be ideal and triple burner so you can definitly feed the entire party. you can convert it to a bbq
i'm not sure if it's kosher though ?????? wtf??

Wal Mart is the place to go. My last 2 portable grills have been from there. first was pretty big with a cooking surface of about 1/3 a typical backyard grill. second is a little smaller, about 1/4 cooking surface, but has a handy bun warmer rack. smaller one will easily cook 2 packs of brats, and warm one pack of buns.

they are not bomb proof, but hold up pretty good (currently on year 4 of second). one tip i would offer is to unscrew the adjusment valve, as it "hangs out" and catches on stuff. I screw the little propane bomb in, and then just unscrew the whole assembled fuel cell (valve and tank) from the burner tube. The adjustment valve is what gave out on my first one, so just avoid knocking it around.

Wally usually has 2-3 models in store, and I paid less than $30 each time. go get your grill on - what a great way to celebrate another swim team outing. later.

A friend of a friend makes these, and they are truly the shizzle. Bombproof, portable, and they function as they're own charcoal accelerator. Expensive, but super durable and slick.
