I was wondering if anyone out there does any off water training to increase their paddling fitness. My problem is that I can only get on the river a few times a month right now and when I do get on I am getting very tired very quickly. I do have time to train an hour or so a day, but can't get to paddleable water within that amount of time, so I am looking for ways to increase my stamina other than the obvious...
I paddle mostly BC class 4-4+ with the occasional 5 thrown in for fun.
Any regiment anyone does would be much appreciated.
