Gear for Northern WY

While I haven't been in Aaron's shop I have heard good things regarding him, selection and especially service. Don't know Aaron, have no bias or financial interest in his shop, just passing on what I have heard.

Casper... I am going to jump in on this only because I have been watching you and your childish antics for some time. Commenting negatively on ones business in a public forum is about as lame as it gets and I am now fed up enough with it/you to comment... publicly.
I hope you own a business one day and have the fine opportunity to look on a world wide forum with someone bashing your shop.
First off Aaron is a genuinely great paddler and is a huge resource to anyone in the area looking for REAL beta from a real shop. Secondly, as Todd mentions... Wyoming is not a hugely populated area and therefore he can't carry 10 sizes of every color from every brand. He carries what he believes in and stands behind it.
Bashing a small business on an internationally viewed forum because you don't like their inventory is flat out uncool, and even further is unacceptable in the rather tight nit community.
Yes, I work for Jackson Kayak, and yes Aaron is dealer of ours, but I couldn't care less if he was selling Eskimo/Dagger/Wavesport/LL kayaks or even bad mitten and frisbee's for that matter. A man's livelyhood should not be screwed with over some punks opinion of inventory.

You have blown it pretty big this time bro...

it takes 2 to tango.....i could just get bashed and say nothing.....

i guess this is the original comment that is so childish...
"i wouldn't recommend cody if you are looking for a selection to choose from...."
that isn't so much chilish as the truth. when shoping for a new boat you should look aroundand check out all possibilities. same as the helmet and the rest of the gear.

Small paddling community in sheridan

Hey, your friend should look us up or you for that matter. A small group of us 10 to 12 people have been having pool sessions all winter here thanks to the rec district and some motivated people ( they are now over though ) WE are also paddling the tongue, big goose, little goose and anything else almost three days a week ( not me so much, unfortunately i am very busy w/ work right now. ) We also have a couple of river trips planned through the rec district. The first one in on june 7th and 8th in cody . it should be really fun. my number is 307-751-3938, if your friend is looking to paddle.
Oh yeah not to much selection on shops in sheridan. Special order only. Closest shop is billings probably but cody is much better for selection. Someday we will have a community here.
