Paddle fest?

Is this as big an event as is sounds? Seems like it should be pretty fun.

nice! Stoked to see folks in the Ark Valley this weekend. Salida is quite good right now. I have not been to BV since the water came up but I am sure something is going there. Paddle Fest is great fun and the CKS crew are incredible hosts.

Just my little local's warning on Lake Creek. It is running 700cfs right now which is stomping. If you are going to go up there you might consider putting in at the South Fork put in and taking out at Brains before the big drops. 700 in the Paralyzer is legit gnar.

If Clear Creek comes up above 200cfs that is a great, low stress, Class V run.

Hey Mike,

Did Nimby get cleaned out this winter? or is the exit still jammed with wood? Thanks for the info.

To answer that question because it seems no one did, paddle fest is fun, partying, sleeping where ever you fall down at night and lots of BV boating. But so your not dissapointed when you show up, it is not huge, not Gore, no crowds and concerts, unless this year will be different, I have only gone twice but both time were chill weekends in BV with slightly more boaters then any other weekend, its fun you get to drink a beer with some pro's you have seen on the TV, maybe watch someone run the shit on lake creek!!
