Otter picture and fising report. A section of the green

Came to put up a picture of a couple otters feeding on fish in the snow last wednesday, but the otters on the Colorado thread is locked up because it is too old.

On a day where there was 20" of fresh snow at the Flaming Gorge Lodge and 6" aty the put in, no one was on the river. We caught alot of fish running a carolina rig and a heavy blue wing olive hatch went off about 12:00. The fish are really beautiful this year and I think the higher water over the last couple years has them a couple inches larger on average as well.

I acn't figure out how to paste the picture, so hopefully this works.

Saw a bunch of otters out in Cali last week. Love those little guys.

I was thinking it would be great to train an otter to be my river bro... he could go ahead and scout drops for me, and I could feed him fish and some beer at the takeout. When I swim, I could blame it on the otter and say he was fucking with me by pulling my skirt. Downside is that I would join the ranks of wierd pet owners like pirates with parrots on their shoulder, hippies with ferrets in thier cargo pants, or strippers with large snakes on thier tupperware.

.......you mean you don't already have an Otter friend?

I don't believe it. I thought everyone had an Otter friend if they ran........
