The Mountain Shop and Poudre River Kayak and Canoe will be premiering the new high definition film by Trask McFarland and Arden Oksanen (formerly of TGR), "One World"
in the backyard at Avo's in Fort Collins on Thursday May 5. The film will crank at dark, which should be about 8pm.
Lee's Cyclery will also be showing Jib2: Sessions and hosting a trials demo before dark.
"One World" follows paddlers including Steve Fischer, Brad Ludden, Marianne Saether, Nick Turner, Ben Selznick, and Matt Rusher to spots across the world. Featured spots include the Zambezi (including the minus rapids) and Nile Rivers, Norway, Kyrgzistan, China, and Costa Rica.
Admission is FREE
, with really cheap beer
($1 or $2) from New Belgium Brewing. This event will be the one of a few fundraisers
held throughout the spring for the Fort Collins Riverpark Downtown River Enhancement Project.
