October Hole Rocks, and so does Lyons.

Just a heads up to all you early season jonesers... O'Hole is as good as it has ever been. Took a while to dial it in... and still didn't quite figure it out... but it's the most retentive I've ever seen it.

Flows are currently over 350 CFS thanks to the lovely tunnel diversion. 80 degrees today felt like a day at the beach with Antarctic water temps.

While you're in town avoid being a dirtbag and visit some of the fine local establishments. Great food and great beer abound. You'll probably run into some awesome old friends from Lyons or make a few new ones.

Get it while it's good AND while it's the only quality playspot going!

See you at the Lyons Outdoor Games June 10th-12th! By far the best and most community oriented festival in Colorado.

Be sure to stop into the ST Vrain Market for incredible deli sandwiches before or after your runs! I love Lyons!

O hole is downstream form A hole/Black bear hole. It is right near the big stone Lyons sign.

I've never seen this much water coming out of the diversion. Not much in the SV proper above it.

The hole looks fun for experienced boaters, but thrashy for kids/beginners; the big pool below O hole and the next one has good eddy lines and recovery area for beginners.
