OBJ campground full

Just talked to my buddy who drove down to OBJ campground last night to secure some sites. He reports that all the sites are full. Luckly he snagged a site across the river as some NC boaters were packing up to head out this morning.

If you are headed down to CB this w/e, you will need to start looking for other camping options. Good luck.

Correction

Just got an update. There is still some camping across the river, but it is a IV+ crossing at this level. There is a zig-zag line described to me as a minefield (a stalled Jimmy had water pouring in it's passenger window) that was successfully navigated by an Accord!

have a safe w/e,

I hear it's all flowing, OBJ mid/low (but same as I've hit in the past), but heard something about wood/avalance on Daisey.

daisy clear - scout route across Slate on OBJ and Daisy!

Daisy fairly clear if you head left after the orange tape in the trees above 'big Woody'

5 cars pulled out at OBJ so far - DO NOT attempt to cross downstream of the midstream tree!!! Huge hole is swallowing Toyotas and Nissan 4x4's just behind that mini-island and another on the upstream side of the far side exit got some too.

Do the zig-zag : upstream of the tree, back down the gravel bar, then cross downstream side of the normal exit. OR continue upstream after the tree on across the river and upstream to another exit that is too narrow for my big Ford.

Don't be 'that guy' - there's been plenty.

Maybe in an Accord, but two weeks ago when the water was higher, it was not hard at all -- just follow the correct line and it's easy and safe. Ask around the campground for the line - it's not hard at all. If in doubt, watch someone else's line, there'll be plenty.
