NPFF is almost here

National Paddling Film Festival 2004 Paddling Video Competition
Entries Announced!

Thanks to the HUGE response from paddlesport filmmakers and the hard
work of the volunteers of the Bluegrass Wildwater Association the
21st annual NATIONAL PADDLING FILM FESTIVAL will be presenting 30
incredible and new videos for the judged competition. This is a
record number of entries for the film fest with a majority of these
videos celebrating their world premiere at the NPFF.

Be sure to get your tickets NOW for the film fest as we are
anticipating a sell out audience for the competition which takes
place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 from 10am to 6pm at the Kentucky
Theater in downtown Lexington. In addition to the video and still
image competition the NPFF is proud to welcome special guest CORRAN
ADDISON who will be speaking to the festival audience about his
interesting and exciting filmmaking endeavors.

Don't miss this show! Thanks to all of the filmmakers from across the
country and the world who generously have submitted their work the
NPFF audience and judges will be witnessing an awesome gathering of
creative paddlesport videos. You will not be able see most of these
videos ANYWHERE else and your attendence will be helping to raise
funds for American Whitewater, American Canoe Association and other
river conservation efforts.

In addition, the dedicated NPFF volunteers have been busy contacting
and gathering a mountain of incredible paddling gear, donated by the
NPFF's numerous and very generous sponsors for the gigantic NPFF
Silent Auction. Stay tuned for more details on the paddling gear,
trips and other fabulous stuff that will be available in the NPFF
silent auction. A BIG THANKS to all of those sponsors who have
stepped up to help us raise money for the rivers and a special
mention and thanks to BOATERTALK for helping the NPFF spread the word!
