Aside from the scenery, is this worth running? Would it be a bore at 1200cfs?

I ran Northgate at 1500 cfs and found that it's a class II with a couple of class III's a couple of years ago. If you plan on driving a long way, I'd suggest doing the Encampment with Northgate. Northgate itself might not be worth it. However, I've never run the Encampment. I hope that helps.

Northgate is a bit of a snooze under 2000 - but over 2000 it turns in to some rocking good fun - with great play - and a faster ride through the flat water in the middle. Very scenic!
