North St Vrain-- Class II run and Class III+ run

It seems these are pretty unknown runs for most people, so I thought I would post this. The water has been flowing in these runs for the past week. We have about 220 cfs which are good levels for the Class III + run which starts above Shelly's cottages (Longmont Dam Road)and goes to the Apple Valley bridge. It is a good intro to creeking and a fun section to play on. The section from Apple Valley bridge to the Lyons Whitewater Park is a good Class II section that is about 3 miles long, which is hard to find in the front range.
