North Fork of the Encampment?

As we drove up to the put in for the encampment friday we crossed the north fork and it looked sweet. We just looked at what we could see from the bridge but it reminded me of middle/lower fish creek, super fast and fun. Has anyone done this or have any beta on it; i.e. put in/take out, any big drops? It looks cool and I would like to find out more about it if possible.

Just about everybody notices that creek during the shuttle, it definately looks big enough but I bet mucho dinero that it would be a woodfest. For what it's worth I was looking at the map of the area stapled to the bulletin board at the put-in. There is a road that goes up the north fork for about a mile, and then a trail for another mile or so to get to "Green Mountain Falls". Check it out local boy!
