Ran this on 7/5/2014 at 3.8 ft on the American Whitewater gauge. Unlike previous runs, it is pretty much wood free. We put in at the wilderness bridge.
No portages necessary, though, there is a large log suspended above six pin. It is not in play for the rest of this year, but it will certainly be an issue during next year's runoff. One piece of wood is submerged on the river right side of six pin at the final move, which is out of play for where the river wants you to go, and would be out of play for an upright boater. It could be an issue for a swimmer, especially as the water comes down.
Most notably is the lack of the large logjam downstream that is referenced in AW.
Not much time left on this run this year, but at 3.8 ft it was fun and not at all bony. I felt that the lower water gave the boogie water past six pin more definition.
