Could use some suggestions for resources for the NE rivers.
We will be there in May. Mainly NY, VT, NH; also likely Canada (Ottowa is calling my name!). Plan is primarily creeking, but taking both boats, will be a little rusty from the off season, so would appreciate any suggestions in the IV to IV+ range. The guide books really focus on the Vs so feel like I have a good feel on those, but would also appreciated suggestions of one not to be missed. Nothing super gnar, we are inspiring class V boaters. Would like to throw ourselves off some good waterfalls as well.
I have several guide books: Let it Rain, River Gypsies', and Whitewater Classics. The first two have been awesome. I'm a guide book whore so always open for others, but I think these are pretty solid.
Looking for good web sources as well: forums, flow info, etc.
If you will be in the area during that time PM me, there is always room for one more in a shuttle and cold beer to share, particularly if you show us the lines.
