Trip report from yesterday:

Very good flows, mild temperatures. The class IV stuff is padded out pretty good. Paddlers with previous decents mentioned it was medium to high level. No portages the entire trip. Be careful of one log across the river at the top (crab walk on river left). Several barb wire fences require ducking under, none require getting out if your boat. I suggest scouting the big drop for 1st timers.

Have Fun and be safe!

History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.

Sorry we missed you dude. If you didn't get it today/Sun, you should mount a posse tomorrow.

TR: Saturday it was running Med to Med-High in my opinion. I've only run it twice before though. Definitely could hold more water still, so not high. To give others who've done it a visual, you could have boofed the sieve (not seriously, but it's wide enough the water pouring over the top would have allowed a clean stroke alongside a boat), then die in a sieve with wood in it. In the in between stuff you could the let the pillows do the work, too. Nice. Some wood, but nothing you couldn't boat scout on our run.

Damn it feels good

I would still call that low to med-low, by the pics. When it's solid medium you boof the angled part of the rock on river left and it starts to get closer to actually being ten feet. When you're boofing near the point of that rock it's high. Check the WSR description pic for reference. That is a solid medium flow in the picture.

Whoa, ya gotta agree with RW^. Looks lowish. At high flows you will see quite a bit more water flowing over the rock all the way river left, above where Freemont is parked in the eddy in the first pic.
Your opinion doesn't matter when you're already biased.

Oh yea. Oh yea.

Solid medium today. A bit of push for sure. Def. higher than the pics above. I bet she's going to go big in the next couple weeks.

Great boofin' with you Spencer! You've got that shit down.
