N. fork Gunnison goes through the town of summerset. Nothing but mine tailings. It is a road side run so what you see is what you get.

The Gunny Gorge is very beautiful and fun at very low levels. I highly reccommend the shuttle service provided by the Fun Park. If you shutttled it yourself I would say that it was not worth doing. But it you don't mind paying to play it is great and I think for a little extra you just ride in their vehicles.

I believe you are thinking of Pleasure Park. Leroy runs the show up there and it is a fun place camp. All the wood you can burn (for warming up) and a kick ass bar. A Long Island T serves for a nice break from the all the beer you drank on the run and an extra special camping treat. I do not do alot of fishing but fishing on the Gunni and at the park is incredible. I have never taken the trouble to fish in the Gorge but at the park and on the island I have had alot of success.

As for the shuttle, it is a pain in the ass but I would NOT let Leroy and his crew drive your car. If you really want to pay for it, pay the extra and have them take there own car. The trail is rough and I have seen those guys rally the cars. Time is money and they are not taking there time in your car.
