newbie w/ questions

All -

I'm new to the forum, so if I violate any rules with this post, be gentle.

I'm moving from the boring plains of Illinois to Laramie sometime this spring, probably May. I don't suppose any of you have connections in Laramie where I could crash for a few days while I look for apartments...? I'll buy the beer in exchange for a nice comfy little piece of floor somewhere.

Via con kayak!

You might stir up some interest from Wyoming but I think the majority of posters are actually from Colorado on this site.

Colorado... Colorado... I think I've heard of it. Isn't that the state due south of Wyoming with a bunch of Californians in it?

So ya post asking for help and then start with the noise? Sleep on the street.

Whoa! Easy, guys. I grew up in Wyoming and had (still have) a bunch of friends in Colorado, too... it used to be all the rage to poke fun at the Californians.
