New wood on the piedra!

-Just talked to a friend on the phone who told me that there are river wide logs in the right line of lucifer's garden (runout below eye of the needle).
-The only line is left of island and maybe very difficult to deal with in a raft or kayak.
-They walked on river right because left line has log (new wood?). It took 30 mins with kayak.
-This is probably result of the 4000 cfs flood that happened third weekend of april.

Ran the P yesterday and brought along the chainsaw. We walked the eye due to the log below but were able to ferry over to run the left side of Lucifers in a raft. Then we walked up the cliff and down the cliff and lowered me and the chainsaw to the log. I cut a big chunk so it is no longer wedged into the cliff - but it is now resting on a rock shelf in the water. It should now flush out with a few hundred more cfs. We tried to Z it over the shelf with no luck - its really heavy. Anyway I posted a pic at http://www.whitewateraddiction.com/.
