What other duckies were decked besides the Innova
Traveler and Incept Sheila, just curious? Huge difference in those two boats.Sheila is bad to the bone but pricey.I 'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford it ( would also have to drop 30 lbs.) What is your objection to decked ducks, that you have to roll it ? As someone who hardshells too but could never get a bombproof roll and in my prime was the unparrelelled king of ducky reentry., I can relate to wanting a self bailer for harder stuff.I have toyed with the idea of a boat that could be decked or open with removable (or left in) bail hole plugs. You would need an inflatable or very bouyant foam floor so packraft probably would not work. You could wear a skirt with the plugs in or just to keep water out even in self bailing mode. You could leave them out and open boat like a normal ducky. If you swam in decked mode you could pull the plugs and reenter as a self bailer no need to dump the boat.

That's a great point. I can't argue with that.
