New traveling Kayaker in Denver looking for boat rental

I travel to denver monthly for 4 days per month and I'm a sales rep for an orthodontic supply company. I'll be in town next monday through thursday and I'm looking for a playboat to rent and some buddies to kayak with. I am a class III-IV boater from Salt Lake City and have every afternoon and evening free to boat. I'd like to rent a kayak or find someone who is as flexable as I am in there schedule and would like to show me around Denver boating. I'll bring a paddle, skirt and jacket all I need is a boat and some friends.

Thanks for your help,

Todd Gardner

I second confluence on the boat rental. I would head up to the golden playpark on the outskirts of town. It has good flow now, usually lots of people to hook up with, you can surf to your hearts content. If you feel like doing some river running, there are multiple sections of clear creek above the park that offer some great river running. Should be able to hook up with boaters in golden either way.

Enjoy!
